LinkedIn URLs consist of a long and inelegant string of letters and numbers by default.

LinkedIn allows you to change the custom URL and easily integrate it into your resume, business card, digital signature in email, etc. Also, a meaningful address (one that includes your name) makes it easier to find our profile on LinkedIn and in search engines.

So how do you do it?

1. Go to your profile, in the top right corner, Public profile & URL click on Edit (the pencil icon)

2. In the top right corner, find Edit your custom URL click on Edit

3. Change the URL. The customized URL can include 5-30 letters or numbers. Do not use spaces, symbols, or special characters.

4. Click Save

Please note:

  • You can change your URL up to five times in six months

  • Custom URLs are available on a first-come, first-served basis

Good luck!
